love

She: tell me about love
He: what is love?
She: a feeling
He: does it hurt?
She: very much, like a bite
He: does it excite?
She: to no limit
He: does it wake you up at night?
She: all night
He: does it make you hallucinate?
She: to lunacy
He: does it make you lonely?
She: very lonely
He: how do you know all that?
She: I don’t know

…….
…….

She: why are you so quiet?
He: words escape me, in the presence of love

Full moon was here last night

Full moon, black background, poetry (well, dialogue is poetic enough). Are you a conjurer?

You know, with the slow mood of blogging these days, and some dear ones like Shurouq leaving the scene, I was seriously thinking about taking a long break. But then I thought if I change the look of my blog may be my mood will change. But that cost me a lot LOL; I lost all my links and other extras I had on the other templet. I retrieved all except for The Blue Revolution Album. I’m working on retreating that or may be creating a new one, il7een hatha illi imthayig khulgi.

I’m also very attached to the old look and was hard for me to change, especially that the old one had a classical, poetical feel to it. But time changes and things change and I think this template has a more modern feel to it. Who said poetry should be classical, ha? Besides, that look stayed with me more than a year, ya3ni it had its good share. I wish there were more choices though, I kinda like mixing modern with classical, not only on my template, but also in each and every thing. If the blend is right, the compination could be exquisite.

I don’t know how to do those. Besides, I have noticed that some designed ones take a long time to load and I don’t have the patience for that.

I agree with illusion, Ayya 🙂
I felt this post was simple and yet so deep.
I don’t know if you intended these meanings that cropped up in my mind but what I thought of after reading it was…

Some people think too much about love and what it should be, that they might not be aware of it when it is present, and when it would be so much more blissful to simply bask in the love there is, without expectations.

Thanks sweetie, you got the message I wanted to pass across. Love is not felt in a word that can be decorated with millions of sentences. A friend of mine once said ”lo kanat kilmat el7ob befloos, chan ma7ad galha”. Expressing love is simple; as simple as the simple sentences that were in the conversation above. You don’t have to be a poet to express love. I wanted the reader to feel that love was in the air between the two, although none of that was directly mentioned in the dialogue between them.

Actually I wrote that after reading your 7zayas especially the one you wrote about me, and it intrigued me how much a person could know the other by just reading his/her words. What you wrote, I have kept ( ba3ad ithnich ya3ni) and I treasure it like the best thing anyone wrote about me. And I also was thinking to have mine written in a separate post on my blog, but lady J subgatni, so I published it on her commentary section. But you are that and more. Thanks to you.
