What do you need to know?
I’m a Kuwaiti, an Ex-Engineer, a yogi and would like very much to be a love poetess. I like reading and writing. And more importantly I care for humanity and animals. I’m also an open-minded secular, if you think that this is an offense, then this place is not yours, yet; I appreciate your comments as long as they’re not ad hominem.

I think we have alot in common its always good to find out about like minded ppl.. im aspiring to be a yogi (i dont know when i can actually call myself that are there “rules” to it??)

Ayya I am proud of you. As a Kuwaiti woman I am proud of you and am glad you stand strong in the face of some of the most difficult and sensitive things that can happen to a Kuwaiti woman. You are one hell of a lady and I wish you much strength and love, and pray that you continue as you have. It is never easy using your own personal pain as a force for change, as a force for good and what is right, for justice. I know this more than anyone as a Kuwaiti woman for many personal reasons…many.
Your interview in Frontpage was amazing.
If Kuwaiti women do not have the guts to stand up loud and strong for each other to help and support each other in our darkest and most embarrassing times, then we are nothing and we are totally lost as a nation. We are each others best friends and are sisters. When we stand up for ourselves, say NO loudly, intelligently, rationally and clearly, we teach other women. We empower them. Not just the women, but we teach the men too.
So more power to you Ayya, more power to you. May you always have the strength and wisdom to continue on your path for what is right.

Thanks for your support sweetheart; your words brought tears to my eyes. No one can understand the agonies of a suffering women but a woman that has gone through the same or similar circumstances with Shari’a law. And I have been one of thousands of silent women for a long time to the point that I almost gave up. And yes dear, I have decided to go through this path, not only for me, but also for others. I have been visiting Share’a courts for long and had many encounters with other women, of which some cases were worse than mine. Women who were left at the mercy of their unjust husbands, who spent almost every fils they had on lawyers without hope. Many Kuwaitis advised me to use cunning paths to get the divorce, and many others were willing to give me false evidence to present to court, but since this is not my principle I declined and decided to go through legal channels, but unfortunately I lost, big time.
Again thank you sweetheart for the support, I really need it.

شكرا لمرورك، و عسي ان تكون مواضيعي دائما في الخدمه، اما بالنسبه لاول مهندسه كويتيه فليس لدي علم او تأكيد، و لكن أعتقد ان هنالك أكثر من واحده تخرجن و عملن في نفس الوقت تقريبا (بدايه السبعينات). المهندسه فاطمه حياه هي واحده منهن، و هي مهندسه زراعيه، و قد تكون هي اول من بدأ المجال العملي في الهندسه

لا أرى أي تعارض في بين ما يقوله داروين (وليس داوكنز الساخر بالطبع) وبين الايمان بوجود خالق للكون

فالإنسان موجود منذ ملايين ملايين السنين
ولكنه لم يكن شيئا مذكورا

ولو أن الإنسان هو نفسه هو ابن آدم (بنفسه وعقله وحواسه )وموجود منذ ملايين السنين
فلماذا لم تظهر الكتابة والحضارة ودلالات الهداية إلا منذ 15 الف سنة فقط؟
كان يجب أن تظهر معالم تطوره قبل ملايين السنين
واذا كان ذلك صحيحا كان يجب أن نرى آثار هدايته وليس أحفوريات هويته
لماذا أرى أن الموضوع بسيط جدا ويراه الناس معقد جدا؟

طبعا ما في أي تعارض، لا من قريب ولا من بعيد، الإنسان الذي قد يكون جاء من أصل سمك او قرد يحتمل بشكل كبير بل وفاضح أنه ليس له أي علاقة بالإنسان المتحضر- بنوآدم- صاحب الفكر والعقل والحضارة، هل ترين تشابه بين الإنسان الذي خلق منذ ملايين السنين، وبين الإنسان منذ بضعة الآف سنة ، نظريتي تدعي أنهما مختلفان، قلبا متفقان قالبا، لماذا؟
حتى تتساوى أدلة الكفر مع أدلة الإيمان
ولا يطغى أحدهما على الآخر
ونختلف
ثم نتفق
ثم نختلف
كما يحدث الآن

أما عن محمد العوضي فأعتقد أني كتبت عنه كذا مره و آخر مره هنا
رأيي فيه أنه شخص ليس لدية غير علم الكلام و مسوي روحه عليمي و مدخل روحه في كل شيء ، لكن للأسف عيالنا ما ينتقدونه و ياخذون كلامه علي عواهنه. أما صبري الدمرداش فلو ذهب إلي أمريكا فلن يحصل علي عمل صبي في المختبر ، لكن هذه الكويت صل علي النبي هي التي عملت علماء من هؤلاء. و الشرهه لا عليه و لا علي صبري الدمرداش

أحببت جدا الأشعار التي في مدونتك القديمة. مؤسف أنك لم تعودي تكتبين شعرا و خواطر و لكنني أتفهم أهمية مقاومة ظلامية السلفية بالطرح المباشر للمواضيع

شكرا لدعواتك الطيبة، ، أما الكتابة بالعربية فللأسف هي جديدة علي و محاولاتي الشعرية الماضية في العربي جدا متواضعه و لكن لابأس، فهي محاولات. أما كتابة الشعر باللغة الإنجليزية فهذا كان دائما غرامي و لي محاولات ترجع إلي سن المراهقة و لكن كما ذكرت لك، فهو الوحي

عبد الرحمان, أظن أنك تقصد “لا تجاملي” فالفعل بعد لا الناهية يكون في صيغة الأمر. قد يعتبر البعض إحترام القواعد اللغوية أمرا شكليا لا تكاد تكون له أهمية إذ لا تأثير لغيابه ,بالنسبة لهؤلاء, على جمالية و عمق المعنى. حسب رأيي المتواضع الأخطاء اللغوية تصبح أحيانا من أفضع ما يمكن أن يمحق قوة نص مهما كان نبل الرسالة التي يحتويها. يبدو لي أن الأصوب هو أن نصلح أخطاءنا قبل أن نبادر بنقد الغير

ميدي .. انتي بالأول كتبي عبدالرحمن بشكل صحيح ثم صلحي لي أخطائي ههههه لا بالعكس اللغة العربية جميلة جدا .. هل تعلمين أن هناك أشخاص أتوا للكويت سباحة من طهران إلى الجزيرة الخضراء لا يعرفون نطق الكلمات العربية للآن و هم كويتيين ؟!؟ انهم الكويتيين الذين يكنون ولائهم لإيران اكثر من الكويت و الخليج .. تصوري !! غريب سكوت البعض عنهم .. ثم يخرج نموذج منهم داوود حسين و يعمل مسلسل كريمو إيراني الشخصية هههههههه

صبري الدمرداش ليس جديدا علي، أنا قرأت كتابه الأول في الإعجاز العلمي للقرآن و أنا في الجامعة في السبعينات بأمريكا. و لا أنكر أني تأثرت فيه وقتها لأني كنت أريد أن أصدق أن القرآن به معجزات. و لكن عزيزي تأويل النص لا يصنع منه كتاب علوم و لا كتاب معجزات. أما الفيدو الذي وضعت رابطه فهو الآخر غير جديد علي، شاهدت من قبل بعض مقاطعه و لم يعجبني لأنه لا يلتزم بالإسلوب العلمي البحت و الأمانة العلمية، بل يردد ما يريد المتأسلمون سماعه و خصوصا عندما يتحدث عن نظرية التطور
